SFI Standard Production Sizes for Mahogany
SFI produces in metric measurements.
Sizes noted are Rough Kiln Dried target dimensions.

Standard thickness: 25mm, 50mm, limited volumes of 40mm

Widths are broken into two categories:
"Wides" are 150mm & wider (minimum average of 175mm) in increments of 25mm, allowing up to 10% in 100mm and 125mm
   "Narrows" are  50mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 125mm

Lengths are broken into two groups:
"Longs" are 1800mm to 6000mm in increments of 300mm
"Shorts" are 600-1500mm in increments of 300mm.
    Lengths are generally overcut 50mm.

Additional cut stock in shorter pieces or specific dimensions can be negotiated.

Other thicknesses can be negotiated upon request for mill run production.

All exports are Kiln Dried material only:  moisture content at time of shipment is 8% +/-2 unless a higher MC is specified by the customer.

SFI's proprietary grades govern the shipment.  Customers are welcome to send observing graders for the first shipment to learn the grading rules themselves. To download a full chart (Excel file) outlining the grading rules in detail, please click here.

Material will be sold in random width packs unless otherwise requested.  Packs will be fixed length, one or two lengths per unit, unless otherwise negotiated.

Dressed sizes will be invoiced on original nominal thicknesses.  S2S and S4S are both available services.
